We have a winner for the first championship of the day, the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m in Championship Arena 2 at the 2021 British Showjumping National & Academy Championships. Lois Logan and her coloured pony, Oreo Patches took the crown in the 2021 Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship Final.

In a competitive jump off there were 8 clear rounds, but the 2 second time difference secured the win for the combination.

Locally based Lois and Oreo didn’t travel far so Oreo gets to enjoy his own bed tonight. When asked about her win, Lois commented that she “couldn’t be happier, he was so quick. There had already been a couple clear before me, so I thought I might as well just go for it! He is such a good pony and always tries his hardest”.

They had a successful trip to Wales last weekend, coming ninth in the Derby and fifth in the Foxhunter. Lois looks forward to competing in two further classes over the next couple of days at the British Showjumping National Championships.
