In Championship Arena 2 this afternoon at the British Showjumping National & Academy Championships 2021, Nicole Lockhead Anderson took home the win for the National Grade C Championship with Billy Chill, age 8-years-old.

It was a challenging course, with 12 starters, and only 5 making it through round one. In a tight jump off with 4 double clears across the board, Nicole and Billy Chill rose to the top with a time of 39.64 seconds.

With great pride, Nicole Lockhead Anderson commented: “She’s [Billy Chill] so talented, I’m very lucky to ride her for Dean Vernon!” Nicole continued: “She is so careful, and she makes everything feel very easy.”

Nicole and Billy Chill have only been a combination for the last 3 months, but have already had a couple of wins at 1.40m at Weston Lawns.

Megan James and Jolita L followed in second place, with Phillip Miller and Don Royale taking home third place.
