Closing the Show at the British Showjumping National Championships in Arena 3 was the HOYS Speedi-Beet Grade C Qualifier which was won by Manchester based rider Rachael Connor riding Zaha. Out of the 25 riders who had made it through to the jump off there were just 11 riders clear and Rachael took the lead in a time of 40.76 seconds. Speaking to Rachael after her round, she explained: “I have been training with John Steels and this is my third time trying to qualify for the HOYS Grade C so I am so pleased. He is very bold on grass so I was completely confident in taking him through the course on all the tight turns.”
