The countdown is on to the British Showjumping National Championships 2017

Jake Saywell UNDER 21 CHAMPIONSHIP

Featuring many National showjumping titles and daily supporting classes along with retail stands, children’s activities, hospitality offerings, catering facilities, a fully licensed bar, singing and maybe even dancing……the countdown to the British Showjumping National Championships 2017 is on! Taking place for its third year at the NAEC Stoneleigh, Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire from Tuesday 8th – Sunday 13th August the show promises to offer more than ever before.

The British Showjumping National Championships (BSNC) provides a platform of opportunity for riders to win a National title as well as to qualify for Horse of the Year Show at Birmingham’s NEC in October. This year the show promises to also be a great family day out too, with not only six days of exciting competition on offer but also a range of retail stands along with children’s activities and a bouncy castle. There are a range of hospitality offerings and there will be numerous catering outlets available each day. Entry for spectators is free and parking is £5 per car.

On Friday and Saturday evening, the catering marquee is set to house the evening entertainment open to both competitors and spectators. Commencing after classes have finished, Friday sees the return of Warwickshire based band and last year’s favourite ‘Barney and Jerv’ and new to Saturday evening is the band ‘Chaos’, playing an eclectic mix of songs  from the ’70’s to now, including pop, rock, funk, indie, soul and disco.

With the hope of some lovely summer sun, there is nothing nicer than a brilliantly British afternoon tea or lunch and our hospitality package offers this in a perfectly situated ringside location. This area allows you to enjoy the delights of the showjumping action from the hospitality marquee.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay then look no further than the Chesford Grange Health Club & Spa located just three miles from Stoneleigh Park, sporting breakfast and car parking on site. This is a great place for visitors and competitors alike to relax and unwind after a busy day. Both hospitality and accommodation bookings can be arranged directly through the show organisers so call 02476 858205 or email or email commercial@grandstand.co.uk  to find out more.

For Show entries and general information, including the timetable please visit the British Showjumping National Championships website at www.bsnationalchampionships.co.uk. Facebook and Twitter pages are also active and will be keeping the equestrian community informed of exciting developments surrounding the Show.
